Both of my boys had their first haircuts at Harmony Barber Shop in Magic Kingdom, and I’ll be honest, I originally booked it for the embroidered Mickey ears. But what we walked away with was so much more than a souvenir.

Nestled right off the entrance to Main Street, the Harmony Barber Shop looks like something out of a storybook. Striped poles. Wood floors. A sense of calm that feels almost surreal for being just steps from the park entrance.
From the moment we stepped inside, the Cast Members treated the boys like royalty. It felt cozy, calm, and completely un-rushed. There were stickers. Light-up toys. Plenty of distractions. And somehow, despite my kids’ usual wiggles, the barbers pulled off perfect first trims without a single tear.

At the time of our visit, a first haircut cost $25, and I still can’t believe what was included:
A gentle, toddler-friendly haircut with licensed barbers
A keepsake certificate, a lock of baby hair, and Mickey stickers
A sprinkle of pixie dust
And yes, Mickey ears that say “My 1st Haircut” on the back
